Discuss solar leasing
Solar installation

Planning a hybrid solar budget in Lagos.

Start with your building’s demand and the scope of work. JMG can assess solar, battery storage and generator integration together.

01

Define the load

Share electricity bills, daytime and overnight demand, operating hours and the equipment that must remain powered during an outage.

02

Compare the scope

Separate solar array capacity, inverter output, usable battery storage, generator controls, mounting, electrical protection and installation in each proposal.

03

Check lifetime costs

Review maintenance, warranty coverage and the assumptions behind fuel savings. Confirm commercial terms and quotation validity before comparing budgets.

Your questions, answered

Frequently asked questions.

What is the minimum solar project size?

JMG focuses on solar requirements of 15 kVA and above for factories, commercial buildings and larger facilities.

Does JMG offer on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar?

Yes. JMG can assess on-grid, off-grid and hybrid configurations, including integration with generators. The design depends on your site and electrical demand.

Are LONGi and Deye the only available brands?

LONGi and Deye are part of the offering. Equipment selection can include other brands to suit the technical requirements of the project.

Are solar leasing options available?

Leasing options can be discussed with JMG. Availability and commercial terms depend on the project assessment.

How much does a commercial solar and generator hybrid system cost in Lagos?

The installed cost depends on daytime and overnight demand, solar array size, inverter capacity, usable battery storage, existing generator controls and installation conditions. A building description alone is not enough for a reliable price. Send JMG your electricity bills, load schedule, operating hours and existing equipment details for a site-specific quotation.

What should a commercial solar quotation include?

Compare the solar array in kWp, inverter output in kW or kVA, usable battery capacity in kWh, generator integration, mounting, protection, cabling, delivery, installation and commissioning. Confirm taxes, warranties, maintenance scope, exclusions and quotation validity. Compare equivalent scope rather than equipment prices alone.

Can I keep my existing generator when adding solar and batteries?

An existing generator may be integrated after checking its rating, condition, controller and compatibility with the proposed inverter and controls. The design should define how solar, batteries, grid supply and the generator share the load and respond to outages.

How are fuel savings and payback assessed?

Compare the proposed system with the site’s measured electricity demand, generator operating hours and fuel use. State the assumptions for energy prices, solar production, battery use and maintenance. Savings and payback vary by site and should be assessed before a commercial commitment.
